I help people redefine friendship and community so they can build the connections they want.

Alex Alexander, based in Seattle, is a founder, soon-to-be author, speaker, and thought leader focusing on community and friendship. Like many, Alex didn't have a great family of origin situation, but throughout her teens and 20s she built a support system out of friends without realizing what she was creating.  When her 30s hit, societal pressures to prioritize romantic and familial relationships appeared everywhere. She wasn't willing to lose her support system, so Alex dove deeper into understanding what was holding her friendships together.

Alex is changing the dialogue around community and friendship by candidly discussing how people approach these relationships on her podcast, Friendship IRL. Her website and soon-to-be-released book give people the language to discover the range of relationships in their lives and discuss actionable tools to cultivate the supportive community they desire. Alex's work helps people realize they can impact their friendships more than society has led them to believe.
