Giandra de Cuba
Bringing with me the Caribbean charm and ready to build SERIOUSLY. I help companies to solve complex problems & reach untapped potential through the application of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® METHOD.
I was born and raised on the Caribbean island of Aruba.
To earn my colleague degree, I moved to The Netherlands where I studied International Hospitality Management. During my studies I participated in different exchange programs, travelled to explore more of the world and lived in Bangkok and Brussels.
Upon completing my studies, I returned to Aruba, were I worked two years in the hospitality industry for a luxury hotel as department manager, and in the banking industry for five years as an officer. From young on, I was always creating different events or selling different products. Despite being employed by renowned companies on the island, I felt that to have a higher impact in my community, I needed to be an entrepreneur and founded Level Up Leadership & Personal Development Training.
For this, I am internationally trained by John Maxwell Team offering John Maxwell courses, certified Maxwell Method of DISC Consultant, offering behavioral analysis assessments to assist teams to better understand each other's communication style.
In December 2022, I became the first LEGO SERIOUS PLAY METHOD Certified facilitator for Aruba. I have facilitated both in Aruba and Internationally, in different languages such as Spanish, English, Dutch and Papiamento which is my native language.
In my leisure time, I love to travel and learn about different cultures, I read daily and love latin dancing.
I am an active founding member of Kiwanis Club of San Nicolas, were I served 3 times on the executive board. Also a former Toastmaster, where I also served on several boards and as international trainer. Toastmasters was also the place where I learned that I love to develop others and to facilitate trainings. As a youngster, I also formed part of JCI Aruba Female.
Life motto: “ Life is ever changing, you should be ready to change quickly in order to enjoy it again and again” G.de Cuba
Why use Level Up
As facilitator with the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY Methodology, I offer hands on, engaging sessions which bring forward new knowledge, 100% participation and our sessions are solutions driven, instead of regular. I focus on unlocking new knowledge and ideas, building stronger relationships and improve business management. We use only original material.
Besides LEGO SERIOUS PLAY, I also offer through my other certifications leadership and personal development sessions, where I focus on building soft skills through engaging sessions that include active discussions and gamification.
As a company, we continuously develop ourselves to ensure high levels of training for our clients. We invest in developing our youth as part of our corporate social responsibility beliefs. We do things differently and are not your traditional boardroom trainer.
