Charlie Wilson

I currently do keynotes, workshops, and speech writing/coaching as the owner of Learning with Laughter, LLC.  Areas of specialization are: humor, storytelling, brain aerobics, creativity, speech writing, communication skills, and dealing with Alzheimer's and cancer.  I am currently upgrading my website, www.learningwithlaughter.com and can be emailed at charlie@learningwithlaughter.com or charliewilsondtm@gmail.com.

I was a professor of financial management, operations management, statistics, and software development.  I was also the Head of the Simulation Department for the Applied Research Laboratory of Penn State.

I am active in community theater, currently rehearsing for my 83rd production.  I have been Big Daddy in 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof', Juror #8 in 'Twelve Angry Men', and Sir Lawrence Wargrave in 'And Then There Were None', among others.  I portray Benjamin Franklin for State College's 4th Fest and for business conferences.

I have also been conducting programs around the screening of the documentary 'SPEAK'.  This is an important film about overcoming the fear of public speaking and dealing the physical and psychological challenges preparing for Toastmasters International's World Championship of Public Speaking.
