He serves on the Steering Group for the World Health Organization (WHO) Health in Prisons Programme, and the Steering Committee for the Worldwide Prison Health Research and Engagement Network (WEPHREN). Stuart gave an invited keynote address at this meeting, and continues to work closely with ICRC on detention health issuers. His work influences health and criminal justice policy in Australia and internationally.
