Dr Stacey Ashley

I had the privilege of attending Dr. Stacey Ashley’s leadership trainings. First in person during the She Leads Conference by CWI in Kuala Lumpur (July 2025), and later through online specialised and customised trainings conducted by Fatima Group through our Talent Sustainability team. They spanned over the matter of Powering Up for Team Leads, Management of Teams, leadership and Coaching. Both experiences were nothing short of transformative. Dr. Stacey brings a rare combination of deep expertise, clarity of thought, and genuinely human leadership. Her frameworks are practical and immediately applicable. For example, I love the Wheel of Energy, the BED and OAR mechanics, the 3-Ws approach, the 4-Ps approach for teams and my all time favorite, the Circles of Influence. I have, in turn, introduced the Wheel of Energy in my own team. Her training on becoming a powerful Coach was amazing. The difference between Mentoring and Coaching was mind-boggling. Not only it provided a clarity over when to mentor and when to coach but it also formulated the ideal manner of coaching - the Dos and Don’ts. Dr. Stacey's delivery is always insightful, engaging, and deeply empowering. What I value most is her ability to connect. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Stacey Ashley to any organisation or leader seeking to build capability, confidence, and genuine leadership excellence. A four part powerful series to our leaders delivering on leading possibility. Stacey's ease and approach with the virtual space made for an engaging and inspiring session which allowed us to stream across the Pacific. Her knowledge of the subject and ability to bring leaders with her throughout the four, 1 hour sessions as they navigated leading themselves in our current world, provided an extraordinary platform to create change and grow capability.

Stacey’s style and experience was a really good fit for our organisation. A full day of workshops, conversations and activity with Stacey inspired our female leaders to reach their full potential. I was fortunate to attend the AITD Conference last week and listen to a number of presentations which will be invaluable in the future. The stand out presentation 'Learning With Accountability' was conducted by Stacey Ashley #kudos. Stacey was professional, inspiring and was totally engaging. This presentation was the diamond in the crown for providing future strategies for learning accountability.

It was an absolute delight to have Stacey as our Guest of Honor at WBLC 2020, she was outstanding! We received more useful tips about leadership during the session. Given Stacey's expertise in leadership, executive coaching and change we invited her to chair HRD Magazine's HR Tech Summit. She was delightful to work with in the lead up to the event, and expertly led the discussion on Your tech journey: questions to ask before purchasing HR Tech. She is an engaging speaker, adept at encouraging audience participation and able to roll with the flow of an event. I had the pleasure of working with Stacey recently when she delivered a fabulous 2 day virtual training for us. The Coaching Leader program was absolutely fantastic! Stacey is so organised, efficient and aware of your energy levels. Instead of drained at the end of each day, I was so energised. I thoroughly enjoyed this course and would recommend it to anyone thinking of developing their coaching skills as a leader or professional coach. Stacey has had huge life experience, she's incredibly good at what she does, she is patient, empathetic, encouraging and gives such good feedback to help you be the best you can be and she has a great sense of humour! I highly recommend The Coaching Leader to anyone who is leading in any capacity or has a passion to lead. My initial intention in undertaking the program was really about personal growth, however the information and tools and skills I have developed have far exceeded my expectations. After 5 intensive days, I have the foundational skills to help people come up with solutions that they have been able to find themselves. While Stacey is very professional, she is also authentic with a great sense of humour and generous with her thoughts and knowledge. I have been very energised to continue to grow as a coaching leader!

I have attended several Stacey's workshops over the last few years, I have always found them to be engaging and full of practical hints and tips. In 2020, I enrolled in Stacey's 5 day 'The Coaching Leader' program, of course with COVID, the delivery had to be moved to an online platform. I am willing to admit, I was very hesitant to complete the program online as in other programs I have struggled to maintain my focus. Stacey encouraged me to try and I can say I was really surprised at how well the program ran. Stacey is always an engaging presenter and she lost none of her energy through the Zoom medium. Stacey is incredibly organised and observant making sure she switches delivery up or adds extra breaks if the participants (read me) started to show fatigue. The depth and breadth of Stacey's experience provides for completely relatable stories, anecdotes and scenarios to explore. The models provided throughout the program are simple, logical, practical and accessible, they instantly translate into actions you can implement in your own daily practice. Additionally, throughout the program, Stacey models the behaviours you are learning and allows plenty of time for practice to help embed the learning and the transition from knowing to doing. I encourage leaders, regardless of their experience, to engage with Stacey through all her platforms for ideas and insights to elevate their leadership practice.

I recently completed Stacey's group leadership program. It has been far the best leadership coaching program that I have encountered. Stacey's approach is logical, considered and highly effective. I have so many tools in my tool box now and feeling positive about dealing with my leadership challenges. I would highly recommend connecting with Stacey and joining one of her programs. You won't regret it.

I have worked with Stacey for a number of years and she has been a facilitator in my Coaching training, my coach and my coaching mentor. At all times Stacey has been knowledgeable, professional and really useful for providing guidance and direction in my coaching journey. Her webcasts and books constantly provide me with insight and are excellent reference points when I am seeking solutions to my own leadership questions or supporting others in their leadership growth.

Normally the sessions at the Associations Forum National Conference are content heavy and led by industry practitioners but we decided in 2017 to add a new session which Stacey ran on workplace culture. She was great to work with leading up to the conference and on the day. The feedback we received for her session was great as delegates found her engaging, informative and they loved how interactive she was with her activities.

I recently attended one of Stacey's sessions "Leading Possibility - Choosing Positive" There is one word I would use to describe how it made me feel - "INSPIRED" The pandemic clouded my headspace, I lost my vision and my mojo. In just one hour, Stacey inspired and motivated me to get back on track with my life journey, to recognise progress, have compassion for myself, take action and create opportunities for my future. She reminded me I am in control, and being positive is a choice - one that I can choose to make each day. She spoke about the psychology of choosing positivity, recognising and appreciating the journey, and put life into perspective by enlightening me with the negative to positive ratio. I'd definitely recommend Stacey as a leadership expert, someone who is highly experienced with transformational and adaptive leadership, coaching, mentoring and motivational speaking. At a time where leaders are struggling to keep themselves and their people motivated and engaged, Stacey is able to provide simple yet effective tools to help lead ourselves and our teams, while building a collaborative approach that is focused on the celebrations of success, whilst in the journey. Her facilitation of the virtual session was authentic and engaging. She really made you feel like you were in a room with just her and a handful of others - even though there were more than 120 of us online! Thank you Stacey for helping me find my mojo!

Stacey recently agreed to take part in the University of Sydney Business School's inaugural webinar in the Business Not as Usual series. Working with Stacey was delightful, she is professional, thoughtful and considered in her approach which contributed to a very successful webinar. Stacey contributed her thought leadership on Career Challenges, Changes and Choices and how the different styles and approaches to leadership show up when managing yourself and your teams. CPA Australia has engaged Stacey several times to speak at various conferences around the country. Every time I've been to one of her presentations, I've walked away with fresh pearls of wisdom that she has shared. I began working with Stacey by attending a couple of her webinars. This led me to her books and more webinars. What Stacey said, and the tools she provided when she said it, as I try to be a Leader to 20+ staff, resonated with me. “Lead Yourself First” became a foundation for me. Also, out -of-the-blue, Stacey gave me a call to enquire about my key areas of focus in leading and if her webinar had assisted. Stacey and I discussed ideas for a foundational building block program across the three teams, to help the managers lead their team and assist in leading the combined branch. Stacey put together a package of individual coaching for the 3 managers plus a high-power-team building block series of workshops. These ran from July to November and were a resounding success for the managers, the teams and to assist me in setting the tone. I cannot speak more highly enough of Stacey’s collaborative approach, her ability to listen and hear what is required. Then her ability to design and deliver a fit-4-team program. I would personally recommend Stacey and would encourage leaders to reach out, attend a webinar, read one of her books, and see what resonates!!

Her topic on Leading High Performance During Turbulence was very informative and she is really a genius and will make you realize there are so many more amazing things that we can make hence this challenging time.
