Destination Marketing Specialist
Nairobi, KEFiona Ngesa destination-marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in the tourism industry. Over the years, she has been involved in destination marketing, Crisis Management, Destination Events, PR & Communications, and Regional Integration projects in East Africa. She is currently the Business Development Manager at the Kenya Tourism Board responsible for facilitating the development and packaging of Kenya's unique, authentic and exceptional travel experiences for the modern traveler, in collaboration with stakeholders in Kenya and in the source markets.
Fiona holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) & a Masters degree in International Tourism & Leisure Management from Stenden University in the Netherlands. She is a certified Coach and is passionate about sustainability and adding value to individuals and organizations in the tourism industry and beyond.
Before and during the Pandemic, She has trained, participated in the expert panels, and delivered talks spoken in a number of webinars and events targeting travel professionals, and youth events.
