The Mountain Laurels
The Mountain Laurels are a seasoned group of talented women musicians from eclectic backgrounds that include classical, Celtic, fiddle, and folk. The Mountain Laurels perform a variety of Classical music typical for traditional weddings along with Irish and Appalachian fiddle tunes balanced with lovely waltzes and airs. The band has produced two CDs of traditional Irish tunes and original tunes and is featured on Pandora's Celtic channel. The Mountain Laurels have been pleasing audiences across the High Country of Western North Carolina at concerts, weddings, festivals, cafes, coffee houses, wineries, breweries, and private events since 2008. They perform primarily as a three or four-piece instrumental group (violin, guitar, flute, & hammered dulcimer).
