One look is all you will need to see that Mark Peck is no stranger to obstacles! Born with a rare, brittle bone condition, Mark has had over 75 fractures in his 43 years! Yet it is Mark's response to these obstacles that has earned him invitations to speak across the country and around the world. Sharing his own struggles combined with his own unique brand of humor, he shows audiences how to succeed not in spite of obstacles, but because of them. In 1978 Mark earned his BA degree from Michigan State University. He began his working career as a counselor for others with disabilities. "Who better to show someone else the way," says Peck, "than someone who's already been there?" Though continuing be involved in issues for the disabled, Mark has been a Financial Planner with Michigan Financial Group in Lansing, Michigan for the past 16 years. A career in which he has earned numerous industry awards. In addition to numerous civic, high school and college groups, Mark has delivered keynote addresses for such groups as Phoenix Home-Life Insurance, the Grant Taggert Symposium, the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table, the National Association of Malaysian Life Insurance Agents, and Great Britain's Life Insurance Association. He has also performed "sit down" comedy, which he says is like "stand up" only shorter. Mark is married and has three children and four grandchildren.
